This magnet was bought before we got married... in one of our trips to HKG or was it when we moved to HKG? We can not remember... but it was bought from a shop on the peak...

it is now on our fridge with our other magnets...

I wonder if our friend Patrick would sneeze each type we say "夠la PATRICK"...

We picked this phrase up from his wife, Nancy... because whenever she thought he had crossed the line...she would say "夠la PATRICK"... but now, whenever i say "夠la"... his name would automatically follow.

Other side of PI

Been a few years since we moved to Park Island and yet this was the first time we walked to the other side of the island...mainly because there are a lot of burial sites on the other side... but the view is not bad there.

Fried rice...by Mrs. Wong

I think there has been another blog entry with Mr. Wong's fried rice... but seriously...my fried rice is not too bad wor... the rice did not clump together...taste was okay wor!  Mr. Wong...don't you agree?

Chicken Wings - Yum Yum

Went to Tai Ping Koon with my  hubby and mom... been in HKG for almost 10 years and visited HKG so many times in the past and i have never been to Tai Ping Koon... can you believe this!

Ordered a Signature Set for 2 and an extra order of TPK Roasted Pigeon (whole)... I love the chicken wings...super yummy!

We have been back in HKG for almost 10 years now.... been busy throughout the 10 years.... started our careers....completed our Master's degree.... went through the whole process of putting together a wedding....adjusted to married life... moved apartments... bought and sold and bought and renovated apartments...settled down...

Maybe because we do not and may not have children... I am reaching a stage where i am tempted to move back to Vancouver...not sure if it is just for the sake of having a "project" to do together...or whether it is time for me to change work environments..or whether in the long run, it would be more beneficial to both of us... anyhow... i just feel a need for some change.

...but i also understand that Steve is making some impressions at his job and doesn't feel that same ...

just wait and see i guess....

Weekend workshop & another concert

Went to a farm near Kent and Kit's place on Sunday to learn how to make Rocket Stoves.... i have seen some youtube clips about it... it was good fun.... didn't expect to be making "clay pot rice with sausages".

Too bad Steve won't let me take the stove home...otherwise i can play with it the next time we are at camp...

It was another concert night this weekend... this time it was Vivian Chow.... she actually sang better than i expected...probably because she did work hard to learn sining from a teacher before the concert and also because the band was quite loud...better sound system i think.   Lots of guest showed up which was an added surprise.

Elsie and I have talked about coming out during our Birthday Month for dinner for a few years.... finally this year, the four of us came out to dinner.

Restaurant:  Akita Tepannyaki @ Knutsford Terrace.

I think i forgot to take the photos of the sliced abalone and the zuccini....yummy...

Dinner was very nice and it was very special to sit down and talk to friends... didn't realized that we have known them for over 5 years la... first time we all came out on a double date.
